The Larsgard Family

The Larsgard family consists of Darin & JoLynn, and sons Nathan (18), Davin (16), Levi (14), and daughter Justine (10). They live 10 miles north of Rocky Mountain House, and have a great time playing music together. Dad, Darin, taught the boys to play guitar about 5 years ago. Upon hearing Darin and son Davin picking "Dueling Banjos" on the guitars, Great Grandpa remarked, "That boy needs a banjo!" He bought one for them just before Christmas 4 years ago, and Davin learned to play it almost overnight. Nathan then requested a bass guitar for Christmas, Levi a fiddle, and Darin a new guitar - thus was born the Larsgard family bluegrass band. The boys' progress has continually amazed and blessed people wherever they play. Their Mom, JoLynn, jumped on board about 2 years ago, and sister, Justine, has recently been getting lessons from her brothers too. Although they never had any idea that they would one day be playing music together, this homegrown family is thoroughly enjoying the gifts God has given.They are very grateful for the invitation and opportunity to come and play atBlueberry!
