Endless Train

Rising up from the flatlands of Manitoba comes a new band, poised to make its mark on the Canadian bluegrass and acoustic music scene. Leading the way are two well known bluegrass pickers and singers reuniting to showcase their vision of modern contemporary bluegrass, anchored in soaring harmonies and crisp instrumental work, in the southern Manitoba based act, Endless Train. Joe Teichroeb is featured on lead guitar, mandolin and vocals. Calvin Klassen is known as one of the finest bass players on the western Canadian bluegrass/gospel circuit and makes up an integral part of the band's moving harmonies with his smooth tenor. Raymond Klassen switches from dobro to guitar with ease, a large part of the modern sound of Endless Train. Carolyn Klassen adds a sweet, strong voice and her warm, melodic fiddle to round out the instrumental ensemble of Endless Train. Joe and Calvin played together for over 10 years in the critically acclaimed Dry River Boys, and Carolyn and Raymond are both younger siblings of Calvin. Endless Train is a new band in name only; individually they've performed at major venues across the country, recorded numerous albums, guested with many artists, and have now joined forces to present music that goes beyond labels and can best be described as...compelling.
